On May 19, AEROMOT participated in a meeting of the Defense and Security Industry Committee (COMDEFESA), held at FIERGS headquarters in Porto Alegre. The company was represented by its President, Guilherme Cunha, who also serves as Vice Coordinator of the committee.

The agenda focused on key topics shaping the future of Brazil’s defense industry. The Commander of the Southern Military Command presented the Brazilian Army’s strategic modernization plan, including investments projected for the coming years. Following this, representatives from the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (ABIN) detailed initiatives aimed at protecting companies within the defense supply chain against espionage and the leakage of sensitive information.

Recognized as a Strategic Defense Company (EED), AEROMOT plays an active role in these discussions. Participating in forums such as this, alongside military leaders, intelligence authorities, and representatives of Rio Grande do Sul’s industrial sector, reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening Brazil’s defense industrial base and contributing to the development of a more integrated and secure ecosystem.
